Influx of AI generated stories

Sorry for introducing this sordid topic in this forum too.

I'm starting to wonder if some people abuse AI to attain Premium status. I remember that I had attained that status after writing quite a lot. So it stands to reason that some might think they just ask ChatGPT to churn out a lot of junk for them so they can become premium authors.

Could there be perhaps a change to that mechanism that AI generated stories are not counted towards a premium privilege, because that would be sort of unfair towards those who have put in a lot of creativity and work to produce genuine stories.

AI tags being self declared, disincentivising the declaration is not such a good idea...

I believe, crapy junk would be low scored, and I know that low scores are not counted much toward premium. That should be enough to favor high quality AI.

There are two ways to get an ai tagging, self declared, certainly, but there is also the other way when the submissions process determines the ai content is above the threshold for ai tagging.

I think the two would be better suited as separate items, where the submitting person can declare the level of ai involvement.

I find it difficult to distinguish between self declared and determined for new stories.

What's the chance someone willing to go through hoops to game the system would ever pay for premium anyway?
