I checked my 'Sent' box because I needed to copy part of a previous reply, but it wasn't there.
I notice the 'reply' form in the messaging system has changed. Could that be related?

My Inbox and my Sent box are both there (with content) as usual, and I don't Archive messages so that one is empty.
If there was a bad change, it's been rolled back.
Mine is fine. Inbox and sent are both showing and readable.
What did you do to your computer this time?

Not update it to 64-bit. But it looks as though Lazeez has fixed it - I've just sent a test reply to a PM and it appeared in my 'Sent' box.
We are lucky to have such service ;-)

If the receiver deletes the message, then it's gone from your sent box.

I believe I was the recipient, and I don't delete anything…

The recipient was rlfj. You were the guinea pig I used in a subsequent test (thank you).
rlfj's original message is still in my inbox directory with the word 'null' underneath the title. Weird.

Indeed.
Can you send me a screenshot?
If you hover over the null word, is there a link you can copy? I need that link too if it's available.
I'm getting too senile to remember this stuff, but hopefully something is on its way.

It turned out the 'null' word is your own note about the message.
When you view a message, there is a note icon on top and you somehow entered null.

Thanks.
Actually I didn't enter "null", I didn't enter anything at all. Finger trouble with the mouse activated the 'note' facility, of which I had been totally oblivious. I clicked on 'cancel' and that seems to cause the "null". Opening the message and clicking on the icon appearing to the right seems to delete it.
