Paige Hawthorne
And, oddly, when I tried to Reply to the reader in Mail, I was directed the the Clitorides page. Huh.

That's because it only accepts 10 letters. It's been like that for as long as I remember.
I guess a space also counts as a letter?
When I was at American Express, the max size for a name on the card was 20 characters (including spaces). And the full last name had to be on the card. I remember it became a problem when hyphenated names came to be.
If I remember right, which isn't a given, I think Amex's solution was to drop letters or something to make it look like the name but have it fit. To my knowledge, it's still a problem.
But it did include spaces. As does the 500 character description for the story. In fact, the em-dash counts as two characters in the description. So my guess is the space counts as a letter.
You only have to type part of an author's name there anyway. If I type "Hawt" you are one of three hawt authors that the search returns.
