Gina's new story was just posted 8 hours ago. Why is it marked Incomplete and Inactive instead of To Be Continued?

It was posted here by Lazeez with Gina's permission because her website is about to go off line. It is not a new story.
It is not a new story.
So basically, I just wasted my time reading the first 3 chapters because it is labeled as a new story.

It may be new to SOL. It's not something the author wrote recently.

She has Parkinson's and is going blind, and along with other health issues she is no longer able to write.

What a terrible ending for such a talented writer. :-(

I'm posting the stories on the SOL after getting Gina's permission to do so.
Since she is unable to write anymore, the stories will be posted as they are on her site, and if a story is incomplete on her site, it will be labelled as incomplete here, whenever it gets posted.
Should the story summary on the Stream page be marked as "Incomplete and Inactive" versus just showing up on the last page? The "In Progress" indicator on the Stream page is a little misleading in this case.

The home page code needs updating. Usually, an inactive story would never appear on the home page, this is the first time, so the code was not able to clearly handle it.
Ok thanks for letting us know. That was what upset me the most because it is a great story for what there is of it only to find out there is no more.
Wait until "York" gets posted, six chapters and then it was over.
Gina has her obsessions, I used to routinely stop reading her stories when I reached the point where
- she started on how stupid and arrogant the French are
- she started going on about an Iranian bio-warfare attack.
I think her obsession with the French arose after she was there and they thought she was North African in origin, and were not particularly polite in their dealings. At a guess that was 35-40 years ago.
I have read her stories before and then I made the mistake of visiting her forum and found some of the threads and posters rather sick and disgusting.
Will other authors who posted on her site move here, or will each author author have to move their own stories?? She had some excellent stories by authors that I haven't seen elsewhere.
Apparently most of those stories will also be appearing here.
Wes Boyd's stories will only ever make it here if his heirs agree to that, which will presumably mean that his own site will bite the dust.
There is at least one other author where I can imagine his works won't make it, but it's time to watch and wait.
