I can't remember ever having problems with it in the past, as I've frequently changed titles after a story has started. I simply resubmit "Repost chapter" with the new title either in the < h1 > disignation (in html) or marked with {p} to highlight it as the proper title, although explaining that you're trying to change the chapter title in the "Notes to the Admins" field would ensure they'd catch any gotchas you might have missed.
Go to SoL Home Page, click on the Authors / Editors link, select the relevant Pen name and click on the Manage Stories button, this opens a list of your stories. Select the story concerned and click on the Story Title top open a page with the story stats, below the story stats is a break up of the chapter stats, select and click on the Chapter Name concerned, and this will open a little text box where you can change the chapter title.
