Feature request: ability to 'block' authors from search results

Nihilo ๐Ÿšซ

As the title says- lately I've noticed a proliferation of *badly* written stories by a certain author (either horribly translated or sloppy use of AI) and it's clogging up my search results, so it would be nice to be able to eliminate that author from the results.

How would you want to implement this?
A flag in the author index?
An author block list on your PC?

it's already implemented, but it doesn't work in the archaic content search or quick search on the home page.

Go to that author's page, and find the small 'Exclude' link. Click it and confirm the exclusion.

From then on, that author's stories will be hidden from listings for you, except the home page and content searches.

I'm reworking the content search and the new version will have exclusions supported. But the home page will never be filtered.

I believe Author Exclusion is a Premier feature (and will be able to check this tomorrow when my Premier membership expires).
Would it make sense to have a flag in Content Search "Ignore author exclusion list" and/or "Ignore category exclusion list"? Of course the main use of that would be searching for someone else, either "Lost Stories" or "Story Recommendations".

or sloppy use of AI

If it's not tagged as AI, report it to Lazeez so he can run his AI-identifying tool and add the AI tag.

The author in question is "danbaifen" and you can see they've been posting stories at a prodigious rate. I can't tell if they're AI-generated, badly translated from mandarin (some of them have clearly chinese names), or both.

I took a look at his author page. He hasn't posted a new story in more than a week. What he does have is a large number of in-progress serials.

I don't know if they are complete and he's auto posting, but he has 12 in-progress stories that he has posted new chapters for this month (and it's only the 13th). 18 if you go back to the beginning of the year.

@Dominions Son

He has posted 76 stories in 6 months, and only 1 is showing as complete. I won't bother to read an author that doesn't bother to finish a story.
