There is on "Chapter 3" link forward from Chapter 2. When I select "Chapter 3" from the chapter menu, there is a backward link to "Chapter 1."
It appears that somehow the connectivity from 2 to 3 has been interrupted. Is this a bug, or author error?

Author's have no control over the SOL's internal links, so I'd file a problem report with Lazeez (click the "Webmaster" link at the upper right of the main page) so he can trace the root of the problem. Otherwise, I'd just return to the story index to navigate (until he resolves the issue).

Understood, but he did ask whether it was an author error. I was just pointing out that it wasn't.
Normally, any mention of Lazeez's name gets a quick response, as I suspect he's got a data routine that prompts him anytime it's used on the forum.
