I want to edit a single chapter of a multi-chapter story. The FAQ tells me that there is a "Edit" button in the Stories Manager, but I only see "New Chapter" and "Repost Story" buttons there.
I'm afraid of submitting one chapter and it replacing the whole story. Where's the "Edit" button?

To replace text on the site, for a whole story or some chapter(s) of a story, you upload an edited copy of the text through the same submission system that you used to upload your stories/chapters. In the submission system click 'Repost Story' to replace a whole story, or click 'Repost Chapter' to replace/repost one or more chapters.
Yeah, I found that too when I wanted to correct a rather embarrassing typo in a chapter. The only Edit I could find was in the story-stats page, when you click on a chapter, you can edit it's name.
But you don't have to worry when resubmitting a chapter.
Go to your story manager and select "new chapter". NOT repost story. The first thing it asks you is which chapter it is you're uploading. All you have to do is enter the chapter number you want to resubmit.
As far as I know, the system does not work entirely automatically. There will be a human looking at your submission and understand that you want to resubmit a chapter.

No. Go to the same place you go to post a new story (Post Your Stories) and choose "Repost Chapter." It will ask you for the story name (from a drop-down) and the chapter number(s) you want to repost (replace).
