Using Search - Help please

We've tried to understand the boolean search page, however it doesn't seem to work as we expect.
Searching for stories with the phrase "Young Couple" and "Cuckold" appears to show the results for YOUNG or COUPLE or CUCKOLD.
How do we search for a phrase or two phrases within a story?

I either use the quick search like I would use Google:
"Young Couple"+cuckold

Or:

Click on "Advanced Search" and scroll to the very bottom
For "Find" select "Advanced Query Search"
Enter the search-term: "Young Couple" @storyTags cuckold

this is a quick copy paste of a guide of sorts I received a while ago.

In the advanced search content search form at the bottom, select 'Extended Query Search' and then in the 'search for' field enter:

@content keyword @storyTags tag

replace keyword with whatever words you want to search for in the text and replace tag with whatever tags you want. You have to spell the tags as they are spelled in the category search page (although I'm not sure if it works in with the categories that contain a slash (like Ma/ft for example)

You can even do the boolean stuff in there. Example:

@content saturn -pluto @storyTags Science Fiction -Aliens

The above:

Search story text for 'Saturn', but exclude any text that contains 'Pluto' and tags contain 'Science fiction' and exclude any tagged with aliens.

it likely hasn't changed that much since then. I think the only thing that I find frustrating is that you can't use Boolean words like NEAR. This is an old holdover from my time using the Altavista search engine from the days before Google.

I don't have a proper list of included and otherwise excluded list of operands but I have a personal preference for word based selectors over symbols.

have fun exp;erimenting.

Thanks everyone... but what we really want to do is search...

EVERYWHERE for a story that contains the phrase "young couple" and "older man".

Q: How to search two phrases in every story?

We cannot seem to search for two phrases together. We don't like to rely on the tags, as these can frequently miss stories that we'd like... Cheers

Q: How to search two phrases in every story?

In the advanced search page at the bottom, in the Content search box enter:

+"young couple" +"older man"

and from the drop down menu select Boolean Search.

Basically, plus sign (+) followed by double quotes, then first phrase followed by a second double quote, then a space, then a plus sign followed by the second phrase surrounded by double quotes.

Thank you. I too have been wondering if that were possible.
