'random story' not colour-flagged if premier-only

solitude ๐Ÿšซ

Just spotted a minor inconsistency. In lists of stories, those that are accessible only to premier members have a green tint in the background. However, if the 'random story from the archive' shown on the home page is premier-only, it doesn't get tinted! (This behaviour spotted at 0710 UCT, when Volentrin's Plague Survivor was the selected random story.)

I see the Premier Only background on that story at 07.52 BST (UTC +1).

I saw the background when looking at the author's page, but not on the home page where it was listed as the random story. Could be a transient effect, I'll wait and see what happens when I next get a premier-only story as the random story.

Occured again at 18:10 BST (UTC+1); the random story has normal background but the text says it is premier only. (Screenshot available if wanted.)

Again I see the background colour and Premier Only watermark on the Random story on the home page about 20 minutes after your report.

I wonder whether you have a damaged copy of the style sheet cached by your browser??

More likely different style settings, as the behaviour survives a refresh; I'm using a mobile device, and the classic theme for listings.

I'm using classic theme on my computer, just had a Premiere only story show up in my random story screen, and it's covered with Premier Only type.

And I have full access, rather obviously.

The intricacies of CSS!

The 'premier' class in the dark mode CSS file was above the 'entry' and 'wrap' classes, so it was over-riden.

I moved it down and now it's taken effect and the premier stories displayed in the random box will be properly dark blue instead of dark grey and not dark green. You will have to reload the CSS. (on desktop usually hold down the shift key and click the reload button a couple of times).

Thanks! Glad to know it wasn't (merely) me being stupid.
