At the bottom of Roust Writer's latest work, Times7, there is a box to Contact Author. I wanted to let him know a character error had crept in, so I've tried to use that box twice to contact him. It just clicks to Unknown Error! instead of Message sent. I went to his author page and sent him an email that way, and it showed Message Sent.
I sent him a guerilla proofreading observation too and there was no such problem. Mine was sent at 13:40:07 British Summertime - was that before yours? Did a copy of your first attempt reach your 'sent' mailbox?
Your plan B seems to rule out RW's mailbox being full.
I hope it gets sorted out quickly.

The one I sent from his Author page at 09:53:00 US CST went through and shows in my sent folder. Neither of the two attempts using the Contact Author button did.
ETA: I just tried again, and it went through fine. I told him it was a test, but it's an odd bug.
