Today, for me, after I logged in, on the home page, the random story is Premier. The whole box for the story has a blue bachground and 'Premier only' in tasteful pink is watermarked on that blue background.

If I go to the author and find the very same story, the background is white, there is no watermark, but the words 'premier members only' appear in italics under the title.

Why the different ways of displaying a Premier story ? What determines when the blue background is used ?

I think I would prefer if Premier stories always have a blue background. It would be good if it were consistent, either way, however.

ETA I signed out. Went to home page again. Blue background to Premier story. Went to the very same story on the author page, lo and behold, also blue background.

ETA 2 Signed in again. Story on author page has white background.

Depends on the listing style
no class "premier" in the classic listing style.
But it's there for the minimalist, modern light, style.
the class is also there for the modern dark, but the style doesn't have the image.
The auto dark get mixed result, sometimes there is an image, sometimes there is not.
