This is something i've been kicking around in my head ever since i've seen the series "iron-blooded orphans."
It involves one obscure little plot point presented in season two of the series. Apparently in this universe you can earn the high honor of becoming one of the seven stars (a kind of elitist ruling council on earth) if you were to defeat a mobile armor.
Which the main character did in episode 15, but the thing is that he's not associated with earth's military.
In the original series he just claimed a piece of the mobile armor and turned it into a weapon for his gundam.
Now to get to my point,I was thinking it would be interesting if there was an alternate timeline where the main character instead goes for the title of one of the seven stars and forces his way onto the aforementioned elitist council in charge of the military on earth. The thing is the main protagonist in this series is treated as a second class citizen by earth's military usually. Frankly i think all the pieces you'd need to do it are close to being in place.
Personally i think it'd be a nice change from the usual pattern of gundam tv series plots that involve the protagonists going through brutal deaths...
