Zeus's Bastard Child x Hera

I just got done watching the new netflix blood of zeus show and it got me curious as to if anyone has ever made an incest story with one of zeus bastard children and hera?

It seems like every single type of media with this kind of plot ALWAYS has the bastard child forgiving zeus but what if there was a story were the MC and Hera got together and took their revenge on him.

1. That wouldn't be incest as there is no blood or parental relationship with Hera (it's not like she raised them).

2. In the Greek Myths she spend much time trying to kill Zeus's bastard children.

that's the whole point, shes always trying to kill the bastard child, it would be hilarious if she hooked up with one instead. Good way to get revenge on a husband who keeps straying if you ask me.

Hera fucked around some herself, she just wouldn't 'lower herself' to let any of the bastards fuck her.

Hera fucked around some herself

IIRC, in the original Greek myths, she is never portrayed as messing around with mortals in general, much less Zeus's bastard half mortal children, and there were no heros/demigods descended from Hera.

Of course not all of the Greek gods dalliances were with mortals.

The original Pegasus was the offspring of Poseidon and Medusa (who was the offspring of one of the titans and a primordial sea goddess)

I don't recall saying that she fucked mortals. Or demigods. Just others. ISTR that she was supposed to have fucked a couple other gods.

No, but the OP is asking for stories where she has an affair not just with a mortal, but with one of Zeus's bastards.

I don't think her affairs with other gods are a valid precedent here.

Yeah it seems like every story that revolves around zues or the greek gods in todays media does the exact same shit. It's always the bastard child living with his single mom, she dies, then he finds out hes a demigod and his father is zeus and then he saves the world, forgiving his father in the process.

i actually didn't know that Hera had other lovers as well, was under the impression she was loyal to zeus but regardless It would be nice to see some kind of revenge story for both the child and hera. Maybe a story we're the mc is pissed off that zeus neglected his mother or something like that.

she was loyal to zeus

No, she was just psychotically jealous. She was also a hypocrite. (Although maybe she was just upset that he was fucking mortals, and it was a racism thing? Like it was more insulting to her that he'd fuck around on her with a mortal slut, rather than a slut goddess like Aphrodite.)

@FairWeatheredFriend

You want a "Hera fucks a mortal" story? Rewrite the story of Paris, only make him crafty. He convinces the three goddesses to make their bribe unconditional so they pay off regardless of who he chooses as most beautiful. He then subtly rephrases the wording of each bribe and gets them to verify. Then, he declares Hera is the most beautiful woman in the world. Aphrodite is forced to cause Hera to fall for Paris. Hera can't kill him to free herself...

What they are doing is retelling the Greek myths in a modern setting, and that's pretty much how the Greek myths involving demigod heroes went.

Yeah i know but it gets old, i would really like to see a story make zeus out to be the villain, that's why iv always likes the idea of one of his sons stealing his wife away from him lol.

On the other hand, if you are going to do a completely original story, why base it on Greek mythology. Make up your own mythology or at least use one of the ancient mythologies that doesn't get so heavily used in modern stories.

I'm not going to write a story, my grammer is to bad for that but if i was going to it would be a mix of greek mythology and a made up MC and would be more of a romance / quest for revenge type of story.

The MC wanting revenge against Zeus for neglecting his mother and causing her death.

Hera wanting revenge for all of Zeus's infidelity (if it were my story hera would be loyal to Zeus)

Which leads both their paths in the same direction, the destruction of Zeus.

But alas, ill never write the story but i just wanted to toss my idea out there incase anyone else wanted to use it.

You could use Geek mythology. Do Microsoft and Amazon leaders count as Gods?

Microsoft is one of the evil Titans.

Amazon would be Ares, the #2 in evilness, just after #1 Hades (Facebook).

Perhaps, but MS would still be a Titan.

The Titans were an older generation. The big three Greek gods (Zeus, Poseidon, Hades) were children of one of the Titans, most of the rest were children of one of the big three. Zeus nuked his father (who was eating his children) and the Greek gods fought a war with the rest of the Titans.

Titan

"What is a Titan?
(Entry 1 of 2) 1 capitalized : any of a family of giants in Greek mythology born of Uranus and Gaea and ruling the earth until overthrown by the Olympian gods. 2 : one that is gigantic in size or power : one that stands out for greatness of achievement."

Dominions Son ๐Ÿšซ

@richardshagrin

What ever source you got that from is fucked up.

Greek and Roman mythology are identical except all the names of the gods and heroes are different.

That definition of Titan is mixing Greek and Roman names.

Merriam-Webster is a fairly well known source.

Well known doesn't mean always good. That particular definition is shit, because it is mixing names from Greek and Roman mythology.

The ones where the names are the same as celestial bodies / planets is Roman. Uranus would be Roman mythology.

Greek->Roman
Zeus->Jupiter
Ares->Mars
Aphrodite->Venus.

Uranus would be Roman mythology.

"Uranus is the seventh planet from the Sun. Its name is a reference to the Greek god of the sky, Uranus, who, according to Greek mythology, was the grandfather of Zeus and father of Cronus. It has the third-largest planetary radius and fourth-largest planetary mass in the Solar System. Wikipedia"
