Hero gains "the wisdom of Solomen" probably by finding or receiving an object from Old Testament times. Doesn't have to be a lamp, those are for genies. SOL omen indicates some of the wisdom is provided by reading SOL, and it's an omen.

My imagination is having a field day with your idea. Alas, I'm no story writer. I can think it but I can't translate it to paper. I hope one of the writers here will pursue it.

Using 'magical devices' sounds too much like MC dildo (or panty) stories. They've been so overdone, it's poisoned the well, so few of us (authors) will journey in at this point.
I wouldn't mind writing about someone 'as wise as Solomon', but the magic portion squiks me. The whole 'no one can resist my magic appeal' irritates me, as I see it as writing porn but not taking the time to develop a plot.
Sorry to be so judgmental, but that's how the plot line strikes me.
The story would essentially be a 'treasure' hunt using SOL stories as the key.
You can do something like eleven chapters using popular or 'cult' favorite stories.
I.E. Aftermath for the epilogue. I would go with Master PC as the prologue when the protagonist does a search for the Master PC program and finds a very old book instead...
