More of a question, but feel free to use it as the basis of a story.

Background: 2 key bits of info about time lords; they can travel through time and space. 2nd, When something occurs that would otherwise kill them, they regenerate into a new body. They retain their memory, but everything else changes, including personality to some extent.

So here's my question (or story suggestion). If a time lord regenerates into a female and then encounters an earlier (male) version of herself and they hook up...

A more interesting question is if a Time Lord's female incarnation meets up in the ancient past with a male incarnation of herself and they have a child which turns out to be their ancestor, does the universe explode?

This thread gives a whole new meaning to the phrase "Go fuck yourself!"
