Well, I've done something in the line. I guess more casual and less dark than the idea you had because I tried to give the story some light.

rache wrote a story in which a girl took over caring for dogs, satisfying ALL their needs. I seem to recall the girl had to live as a dog, sleeping and eating with them. I can't find it under her 'rache' pseudonym so it must be under one of the others.
