@Nuff_SaidHmm, did a little thinking about this one. I'd change a few things in the initial setup. First, the entirety of the vast facility is not revealed at the beginning, only as the characters accomplish tasks. Second, food is used a motivator, otherwise they could be stubborn, and even then, the gradual collapse of resolve….
Leads me to the cast. Six initial residents, with more to arrive in order to provide critical conflict at various stages. Story can be told from each POV in turn, in which case, most likely less than a chapter each, so scene breaks would be used.
Male characters:
The "Dork". Young white male, smart and nervous about everything, especially girls.
The "Leader." Older white CEO-type, macho, knows he's good-looking, used to having his way and assumes this should continue.
The "Creative." Not fat, "fluffy, and besotted with the leader. Very colorful and very gay, he is not thrilled about being forced to perform with women. So, yes, there might be MM action.
Female characters:
The "Princess." Young Latina, wide-eyed and impressionable, from a privileged background. Way out of her comfort zone. Better believe the Leader is after her.
The "Mom." Not a trophy, but could be. She's younger-looking than her forty years, tall, toned, black, and very much a secret slut, just waiting to be revealed.
The "Goth." She will never do anything like what this robot, AI, asshole is asking, until she does, breaking down first for a solo cam event that kicks everything off.
Already have a few sketches for possible future contestants.
Those uniquely designed rooms would also be unlocked. Some even offer a vista of the surrounding desert mountains, but none provide any access to the outside world. Add a well-appointed gym, an indoor pool, a larger kitchen with all the fanciest amenities, and well-furnished, cozy living spaces, and the big question is what happens when they've earned the money?
Think Lord of the Flies, plus the sex mandated by their overlord, despite actual intimacy developing among the various residents. Toss in a glitch or two, a power failure, plus the absence of any hints of rescue, based on talks with the newer arrivals, and fun times ensue.
