Once the Naked in School program extends to colleges, participants there are drawn (supposedly) randomly by the Department of Health and Education. Entering the lottery is now a mandatory part of college application, and once drawn, participation in Naked in College is mandatory. Refusal means an automatic court sentence of at least three months in BASICC to get rid of silly hangups, followed by ten years of permanent nudity.
Cute, strong willed college sophomore Bessie was quite outspoken on social media and somehow became the figurehead of the anti-NiC movement, never thinking she herself might be drawn. Given her public position, participating is not an option if she wants to retain her credibility, so she ends up at BASICC, a weird boot camp style compound in the Californian desert.
There are all kinds of opportunities for lovely conflict to build suspense and propel the story beyond the obvious forced nudity, embarrassment and group dynamics. Inmates having to share beds, with the counselors assigning who and where. Philosophical clashes because others refused participation on purpose to be allowed ten years of public nudity. Hands-on classes for mutual massages. Not being allowed to wash oneself in the shower. Rewards for public masturbation before bedtime. Biased counselors and confrontational or exploitative external visitors. Wardens taking sexual bribes. Ministry officials checking "progress". Perhaps even a political conspiracy and/or rigged lottery drawings? How does Bessie come out of it? A self-assured woman proud of her looks and comfortable in her body? A reluctant slut, regularly overtaken by carnal pleasure? An undercover agent for a puritan political fraction? Or NiC's public poster girl, giving naked media interviews that praise the program and touring colleges all over the country where she spends a disproportionate part of her time in faculty rooms?
