What was only imagined in 1948 is fast becoming real. It is possible for governments to get complete control over your life using computers, cameras, cell phones, and the money (no cash allowed).
The story would be a resistant group trying to take down the data centers that keep all the data being gathered and used against the people.

I would suggest that Sam Esmail already did it in his TV series "Mr. Robot". Of course, the first season of that ripped off Chuck Palahniuk's "Fight Club" for a not insignificant portion of its plot, but it was great nonetheless.
