That's going to be difficult to pull off since he's going to know the sex when son born (or even before then via ultrasound). If you try to write it as though it was a one night stand, the CSA will tell him when they come to collect payments.
Unless you meant "Man discovers teenage son of a work colleague (or similar)is a biological female who is in the process of transitioning"
Um, my description was supposed to be taken as adding to the title. The teenager is not the man's biological offspring. (Unless an author picking up this story idea wishes it to be so.)

Perhaps I should have ended the title with an ellipsis to imply continuation ;-)
The title does not exclude the possibility of the man and woman knowing each other through work.
I tried to not provide too much detail. I think that's a fault with some of the story ideas here. IMO writers seem much more inclined to run with very concise starters, like three random words.
