I was on Reddit and saw a writing prompt for a son going missing on the way home from school and returning 10 years later he returns with "Mom, Dad, I'm home" some of the... I guess here it'd be called a flash story... Were all over the place 1 he ran away to follow his dream, another it was a skin walker, and yet another he hadn't aged a day and has no clue that it's been 10 years instead of the few minutes it takes him to walk home
I was wondering how some of the excellent writers here would do with this premise

It's a little passe but you could always go with a storyline that was probably pioneered by Law&Order

Have the missing child in these story lines be an absolute fake.....

First thing I thought of when you said hadn't aged a day was the movie Flight of the Navigator. But that was only 8 years, not 10.
