Father and (step)daughter have an affair. One day the father dies (accident, heart attack, or something similar that would happen without warning) and is buried in a family plot in their backyard. Starting soon after the funeral, the (step)daughter starts having very realistic dreams at night of her father coming in and making love to her. This continues for a while until one night that it happens during a torrential rainstorm. When daughter wakes up during a clap of thunder, her father's body is actually there having sex with her. Alternately, she doesn't wake up until the next morning when she sees a trail of wet muddy footprints going from the back door right up to her bed.

Perhaps instead of a 'plot' a mausoleum or crypt. That way it is more 'plausible' that he is leaving and re-entering his coffin. The rest of it can still work as you have described it above.

This is interesting. I feel like it would be hotter if the father and step-daughter were flirting/touching before his death, and then they make love for the first time after his death (like he's an incubus).
