How about someone redo the MasterPC universe?
It's a story written back in the Usenet days in which a geek downloads a program that allows him to access the source code of the universe, essentially. Mind control, body transformation, sexual slavery, time stop, all that fun stuff.
The original stories by JRParz are on SOL (https://storiesonline.net/universe/325/master-pc). I've seen other stories occasionally on ASSTR and its subsites.
The author intended it to be a shared universe, but it just never really took off the way Naked in School and the Swarm Cycle did. The setting has possibilities, but there's just not enough unique about it for authors to not just write their own version.
It sort-of took off, just not here on SoL and not as spectacular as SC or NiS. You can find dozens of Master PC or MasterPC stories over at MCstories, which I guess is the subsite of ASSTR you are thinking of (although it is an independent site AFAICT).
One takeaway is that mind-control + body-modification (basically the bare-bone premise of what Master PC universe provides, you could put ESP, TS, etc. as "extras") is a really niche genre. Here on SoL there are no more than 200 stories with that combination as reported by category search.

Yeah, everything in the "Collections" area of ASSTR are basically independent sites, each run by its own moderator, but hosted on ASSTR. I refer to them as subsites because ASSTR has had issues in the past and if it goes down permanently most of those sites will be gone.
Collections like Old Joe, Libertine, Kristen, and Welsh Dragon are especially worth preserving since they have a lot of 90s era stuff.
I think the trouble is that this universe isn't well defined and there's nothing really unique about it.
Searched and found over 20 stories with Master PC in the description. Many are either not in the universe or are in there own such as Mind Magi — A Universe from the Mind of TechnicDragon
