Had an idea pop into my head today that would take a writer with an in-depth understanding of the different types of cells in the body and what they do and how they work in order to pull off writing the story.
The idea: A world/society based on the human body... but the reader doesn't know that at first and it is never explicitly stated except maybe at the very end. The white blood cells could be soldiers in that society fighting off invaders trying to take over their world... The nervous system/electrical synapses could be their world's equivalent of the internet... Hormones could be messengers, delivery people, couriers...etc etc.
I personally don't have near enough biological knowledge to try even if I could write a decent story (which I can't...lol). So I am throwing this world idea out there in case someone else wants to try and write a story using this as a basis.
