I have a Far Past Story Idea swirling in my Head but no time to write it down.

Premise: Alien is supposed to pick-up a Animal Veterinarian Farmer but is sabotaged as a prank by other Alien.

So instead of picking up the "perfect" Candidate for a Cro-Magnon / Neanderthal World to survive in he / she grabs severely Disabled Man / Woman that loves to read Far-Past Survival Stories, has no actual survival skills besides what he read.

Alien fixes the Disabled Man / woman, equips him with basic tools (hammer, axe, saw, bucket of nails, Case of "survival-cookies" which taste like sawdust ... etc.

Prank-Alien keeps messing with MC (stuff like teleporting spicy hot chillis into Stew, bringing local tribe against MC etc.

Sounds like it would be a pretty short story.

The situation you describe would make survival almost impossible.

I have not counted exactly, but a significant number of these sorts of stories are exactly that... aliens screwing over their protagonist. Various authors had slightly different ideas on how to do so. But CMSix is one that did it in almost all his stories.

So... this is not a fresh idea and I have a difficult time imagining anything 'new' unless the author was able to write some really witty dialog.
