I believe it was a series starting at a Summer Camp for High School Cheerleaders.
Main characters were 3 or 4 nerdy teen boys who worked at the summer camp. They assisted/protect the girls. Eventually some relationships blossom.
Much later in the story it is revealed that the parents of one of the girls are both employed by the NSA ("No Such Agency").
There is also a neglected and forgotten part of the school that was a cold war bomb shelter
