Folks I have gotten old and cranky. I also have CRS.
I am looking for two different stories. Story 1 is about a young man who inherits a business, goes fishing and discovers a youg orphan girl. He ends up rescuing her.
story 2 is about a young lady who has a very bad day. She drives into the mountains to decompress from her father dieing, and loses her jeep in a bad storm. A distant reletive is trying to kill her and a recluse rescues her.
All help and good meds appreciated.
Irecognize both stories, and just reread the first one a month or so ago.
First story: Young man is running IIRC an electronics company. He has a lawyer and two paralegals in his legal department. The young girl was a ward of a couple that died in a boat explosion. He becomes her new guardian, and enrolls her in an exclusive academy. He winds up marrying her when she turns 18.
I will have to spend some search time later to see if I can find them.

I read the second one, years ago, and if memory serves me right, which is doubtful at best, she had to hide out for a bit and their may have been a helicopter involved. I was thinking it was an uncle trying to kill her, but I could be wrong.
'Lost Child' is correct for the first. Still searching for the second.
