Never mind. I went back and searched again, but this time just used K. Apparently when he posted here he used Ka Hmnd, instead of his whole last name.
Some are and some aren't. When his account switched from Ka Hmnd to Kenneth Hammond only about 2/3 of his longer stories made the switch (32). Of the ones that did he's slowly transitioning them to SOL. About a third so far. But my favorite, City Guardsman, didn't move from the original account and only about half the chapters are on the WayBack Machine.
"City Guardsman" is still on xnxx, listed under the author Onceforgotten. Also, check out "Retired" by Brootforce on there. If not direct stories by him, I'm very surprised.
If you look carefully, the City Guardsman listed by Onceforgotten is missing chapters 7 and 8. I suspect it was a reposting by another fan.
I have a different copy of it, but mine is missing chapter 7, and chapter 8 doesn't appear to be the end of the story.
Sorry, you're right. I have that story and a bunch more saved under a wayback that was given me. I confused them. I would post it, but rules prevent me from doing so. If anyone wants them (I have 2) drop me a line.
The link I have saved on the Wayback only goes to Ch.8 now and Ch. 7 has a broken link. There is another grab that only goes to Ch. 6. When I first saved it you could get Ch. 9 and maybe 10 but those entries have disappeared. Someone familiar with the original told me that there were a total of about 15 chapters at one point. I've wondered if the author was considering expanding it a little and publishing it like Knight's World
Damn!! I just checked BOTH saves and Chapter 7 in each are broken. They are different saves as well. sheesh.

I only managed to grab through 8, skipping 7. I've grabbed a few others as well. I have a huge store of his various stories from other sites, some of which were partial rewrites, but still entertaining.

What I have is 8 chapters (with Chapter 7 missing), starting with "The Rescued Daughter". No description.
My description of City Guardsman: A highly rated Armsman who has been working as a mercenary is asked by his grandfather to retire and seek a wife in a certain city. He is appointed the local Duke's Kristin, a sort of chief investigator, trouble shooter, and judge. He rescues the Duke's youngest daughter and marries her. The overall story is somewhat episodic with each chapter being a single short story but there is enough of an overall story arc to be a full length novel. Similar in length to Deputy Morpheus but chapters are a little more tied together into a whole.
