That's the disadvantage of using flat view rather than threaded, you get misled as to what replies are to what unless you pay close attention. Oops, my bad. They do both seem to be on the 'L' site.

Yes and no.
To get a Kaire female pregnant the human male has to be physically modified and then he can't get a female human pregnant.
I think I read one story where the human male gets modified by adding Kaire balls to his human balls instead of replacing them, so he can impregnate his Human and Kaire wives.
In dead tree, Anne McCaffrey's Doona series.
But the cat like Hrubban (spelling?) can't interbreed with humans.
