2 stories - airport, and sick man and escort

chrissv ๐Ÿšซ

There are 2 stories I remember, but can't find again:

1) A story of a man who is on a flight with a young girl he just meets; the flight has a problem and they are forced to lay over. She follows him as they get a free room in a hotel; the airline assumes she is his daughter and sets the up in a single room.

2) A man is in an accident I think and needs to recover at home with a live-in nurse. But nurses are expensive, so he hires an escort to nurse him back to health instead.

Thanks for the help!

I just re-read both Service Society and Reset Manifesto. I'm starting to think RM may be the best story on site.

Definitely in the top 5. Most of Lazlo's stories are well worth reading. Other top 5 'contestants':
Refusenik's Human Phoenix and Human Man
gwresearch's Magestic and K2
Ernest Bywater's Survivor and Survivor: Moving On
There are more very good stories on SOL that jump high above the average.

That's a shame, very good stories lost from SOL. He must have removed them shortly after my post. Just send him an email at gwresearchb-at-aol.com and you can buy it directly from him while avoiding the crooks at amazon. I bought all of Magestic and K2 that way. You can find his site searching his name Geoff Wolak.

Isn't there a 'recently deleted' list somewhere?

Does it give a reason for the removal?

Does it give a reason for the removal?

For stories removed by the author it never gets more specific than "Deleted at author's request"

Which is what it says for gwresearch's stories.

That's also most of the current list.
There are a couple removed for inappropriate content (mostly age rule violations)

The Richard Jackson Saga bu Banadin removed for "mistakes"

One older version of a story removed because it was reposted.

Al Fangor had a bunch of stories "Deleted for Plagiarism"

one removed for being a teaser.

And then there is:
Washing Her Sins Away by Stevew "Deleted because incomplete and Irrelevant" whatever that means.

Washing Her Sins Away by Stevew "Deleted because incomplete and Irrelevant" whatever that means.

I believe that reason is used when a very short 'Incomplete and Inactive' story is up to be archived.

Thank you, I wondered where it lurked.

Why are two of gwresearch's removed stories listed as having the title 'blank'?

Why are two of gwresearch's removed stories listed as having the title 'blank'?

Because he change the titles to 'blank' before asking for deletion.

This story has lots of sex, mostly with young girls, and has a theme almost any airline traveler can agree with, airlines are a rip-off scheme to provide the worst service for the most money of any travel method you can think of. There is a sort of dreamlike feel for lots of the story. The hero/narrator is pretty sure he is in some kind of drugged hallucination or dream during much of the action. I kept reading to try to figure out what was going on, and I am not sure I understand it even having completed the story. I guess I am going to have to read the sequel. We haven't even met the villain of story yet, although we have met a lot of his relatives. This may not sound like a recommendation for you to read the story but do it anyway. I don't recall reading anything like it elsewhere on SOL and you owe it to yourself to see if you like it.

I am going to give the plot a nine, if I can't figure it out it has plenty of twists and turns. Once again, the action is so fast I didn't see any technical problems, and I guess I will give it a ten. The alternative is reading the story over again to look for errors and I am too confused to do that if I don't have to. I rated this a "good" story and that's an eight. Did I mention the sequel is in progress?

Plot: 9 | Technical Quality: 10 | Appeal to Reviewer: 8"

Now ya have to have a damn passport just to board a plane to go to the next state! What a crock!!

Thanks for the replies - #2 was right on.

But for #1, I think it's a different story than Fantasy Flight.

In the one I remember, there was just a single girl passenger, and she was quiet and a little scared/timid.

Flying with an Angel ... Rodosteele

A nice story that was a delight to read.

I have vague memories of another story where a man on a layover ended up with a young girl in his bed, but it wasn't the one the OP was looking for. IIRC the young girl was an underage prostitute and was supposed to stiff the mark but she found the sex so enjoyable that she didn't.

Tajod's The Gold Digger (on BtFH) possibly? It's the one I thought of for the OP, but a few things didn't match - the flight is snowed in, the guy swaps his multi-room suite for a room or two as a favour to the hotel, the girl is returning 'home' (a squat) after not getting a job as she won't put out for the owner, she's mixed up in the drug scene - the job was trying to break free of it.

The second, I'd identified it as probably one of LZ's, but even reading the descriptions didn't identify it before it was answered.

Probably not. I think I read it on SOL.
