Lost gameplay style story

Male main character is a gamer. Something happens and he wakes up to discover that he now has game powers. That he can produce explorer drones, and basic security devices. As he builds, defends, and explores the world that he is in he levels up allowing hime to produce better and more machines. He meets others and helps to defend them from the monsters. Then he discovers that this is the way an alien group takes over a world be transforming some of the dominant lifeforms of the planet into monsters that kill those who haven't transformed. Anybody know this one? Thanks for reading.

I am pretty sure that is it, and I read it for a while when it first came out.

But the author pretty much went dark after about 6 months, and has not added to it or any other stories in almost 4 years. And curiously, the last blog entry has the author saying they have finished chapter 320, but the last posted chapter was 95.

Honestly, I now suspect this is yet another story that will remain like this forever, unfinished. 3 stories started, 3 stories abandoned (2012, 2017, 2018), odds are this is yet another one that will just remain like that.

That could be a symptom of the author ditching their 'free' followers in favour of their commercial followers :-(

I think that's permitted, as long as those chapters make it here eventually. Nick Scipio has done exactly that - posted the rest of Summer Camp.

Honestly, I think the author got bored and simply stopped writing. But before that stopped posting here.

I did find the story on another site, with 117 chapters posted instead of 95. With the reviews being rather predictable. Awesome for the fanbois of overpowered sex machines that like chapters of only a few paragraphs, most of the more serious reviews complaining about overpowered MC god, chapter length, horrible writing and editing.

But simply enough fanbois to overrule the others. However, I noticed that even there, the newest review was over 2 years ago, so stopped updating the story even there.

When an entire chapter is typically only around 500 words, that is not unexpected, to be honest. No real "development", just an almost endless series of events where one follows another. I do remember the story because it did catch my interest. But I quickly grew bored, with the god like overpowered MC and the extreme ADD chapters.

I caused to come into being a suit of ultimate power armor, that could do anything I ever wanted. Then after banging the hot girl with big titties that I had been lusting over, I went to destroy the army approaching me.

And then, SQUIRREL!!!!!!!!!!

I just finished rereading the first 91 chapters and on to something new :)
