Hi, I was reading a story in which Druids kind of died out, but in current times, some guy on a hike with innate talent stumbles into one of the last places where druidic powers exist and the powers awake along with some fairy. He then meets/rescues a girl and her mother who also have the talent but were somehow subverted by an underground church which tries to suppress their power and use it for themselves. Last I read, the main guy kills the local chapter head of the church and rescues the women.
