I read this some years ago. A volcanic eruption, earthquake and tsunami obliterates almost all of the USA followed by months of downpour. Our hero, with two children in tow, joins a survivor group and becomes their leader. Romance is with other surviving adults. Conflict with another camp some day's travel away. Guerrilla warfare ensues. Helicoptes are a key element in the story.

Depends on the country, state, time frame, and curriculum list. When I was in high school they called the subject Mathematics, shortened to Maths, and it had everything on you list as subsidiary items within the subject.
