Need your help. I think this was a series where 5 small fighters save a earth ship by joining a fight. Pilot goes to their planet and is impressed with the place. Earth fleet helps protect their plane but their fighters out-class them. The girls are feline in looks but enjoy their new friends. the stories may be 5-10 years old by now. Thanks, I've looked through 4-5,000 trying to find then, I have a premier account but they may have been removed.
Ka Hmnd has a number of space-opera-type stories with feline characters, but I don't recall this particular plot.
Brian in the Dark is another one that has feline aliens; but again, I don't recall this particular plot.
Finally found the story. It was 'Birds of Prey' by Snekguy. Guess they were not felines sorry about that.
