This is one from long ago so it might not be here any more.
Best as I remember it was a series, father is basically in full body cast, mother is trapped in town, daughter has to nurse her father. No idea how the series progressed though I know she had to 'hold it for him' in the first chapter.
No idea of names or titles.

This is going back a bit. I think you are looking for The Wynter King series, specifically the ones written by Russell Hoisington. He died years ago and passed ownership of the series on to The Wizard when he saw the end coming, I never read The Wizard's contributions.
The Hoisington stories are Premier Only.
Edit: I found the first story in that set too painful to read, but the rest were good going on excellent. If someone feels the same way as me on the first one, simply move on to the next one. The stories were posted before the minimum age was fixed at 14 and are grandfathered in on this site. Nuff said.
Thanks for the help and you're right, that's the series that my subconscious somehow decided this weekend to remind me of. Time to dig in and see where it all went. Glad to learn they got 'grandfathered' rather than excised.
