I'm looking for a story for which I forgot both title and author.
The story had one mmc, who recently lost his wife, a fmc, who had no luck at romance and who just got dumped by her holiday fling and a fmc, who had prior trauma. They all worked at the same company and later left for a tech startup. The story takes place in England.
Any help would be appreciated.

A 14-15 year old story from an author who posted three stories before retiring - although I see he still frequents the site - that was asking for a lot.
So old it was also posted on AssTr! It was well thought of, though.
Out of curosity -- Somehow I find I have early SteveH11 stories cross filed with Prof Jack. No doubt I have early onset CRS and can not remember why I came to the conclusion these authors are one and same, but you might check that author as well.
In the meantime I think I ought to go sit in the hot tub again. Gin helps.
