Once pictured it can't be unseen.

And think of the noise!
Something's not right with the 'search' here. If that's the title of the story, why doesn't it show up in the first 100 search results ???
A search for the number shows no results at all.
edit - I tried to post a link to my search results but it reverted back to this page, Seems like it's not my day, sorry.

1. The number in the link above is a back end thing on the SOL servers, not anything you can search for.
2. A title search for the title on advanced search returns only one result. The quick search on the homepage is NOT a title search.
Thanks for that reply.

Then, what is it good for ? Not trying to be cynical, just curious.
It's a key word search, it hits the the description and the story content.
It's good for what it is, but it's only useful if you understand what it is and use it appropriately.
For example, including words like "on" and "the" in a key word search is generally counter productive. They will broaden rather than narrow the search results.
You can use the quick search for an exact phrase by putting it in quotes.
It will still look for individual key words, but an an exact phrase match will jump to the top of the relevance sort.
But again, this is looking at the descriptions and/or the story text, not the titles.
I've used it to search for titles. I think it picks them up as well as description and contents.
I've used it to search for titles.
In this case, even using the exact title in quotes (which then only yields one page of results) doesn't find the story.
I'd be willing to bet you found cases where the title occurs somewhere in the story text.
