All i can recall is that it was sort of based on 9/11 in that the man was in a building that collapsed after an attack.

If it's the one I am thinking of he was waiting for his girlfriend/wife in the lobby when it collapsed, and he saw her die. He was found a day or so later.

I believe the story was written by PettyBox, well I think I spelled the authors name correctly.
There was another short(er) story about a woman who got fed up with her philandering husband, and was getting ready to divorce him, even though show would get little or nothing in the division. She was going to his office to face him when the planes hit. His office was up in like the 50th floor or something. She was still out on the street, so was able to get away before the towers fell.
