For the life of me I can not remember the name of the story or the author. What I think I remember is the main character was chosen by the aliens to do a entertainment show for their race IE.. Survivor, and during his prep time his house was being renovated and he found a girl living in the room above his garage she was a cheerleader, ended up bring the rest of the squad over to help with the house. After he was transported to the new planet he started running into the girls on the new planet or some thing like that there was a guy teacher/coach from the school and other students both male and female as well.
After rereading what I just wrote I am thinking I may have two different stories inter mingled in the description either way I don't remember.
