Okay... what I remember of the story is that the MC is in the New England area possibly Boston. His situation is similar to Mark's in Minus One (Bruce Bretthauer) as he had a love interest in the past who I think was a member of musical group. The group renters his life due to a local performance. Eventually he reconnects with is love interest.
I remember some of the scenes but not enough provide more clues than above. Perhaps my foggy memory will clear, but...
