I read a story or series recently that I can't seem to find. I'm not sure if I read it here or on Amazon's Kindle Unlimited, but I can't seem to find it on Amazon (maybe my searching ability or their search sucks).
Here is what I remember. The MC is the son of the head of his family (or group or whatever??) of mages but hasn't shown any magic ability so is basically seen as a nobody. He's off in the servant's quarters (I think, not the main house anyway) sleeping with one of the servants (I think) when the whole place is raided by vampires. One of the vampires (female) that comes into where he is kills whoever he's with but decides to take him with her to use as basically a sex toy and to feed from. She binds him to her (not sure if it was the bite or something else). There are also shifter (were-animals?) that the vampires hire as guards. Eventually, the MC comes to care for the vampire as well as the shifter that guards his vampire and there is a lot of sex. At some point, the coven leader (male) comes into her rooms, there's an argument and the MC helps his vampire kill the the leader. It turns out he does actually have magic, it's just a different and rare kind that manifests differently so that was why nobody could detect it before. Later in the story/series, another coven comes after them to kill him and they go on the run. Later they meet up with a pack (?) of shifters/weres and they learn more about him.
There is more, but I'm hoping this is enough for somebody to identify the story/series and help me out. I'm pretty sure it's a series as too much happens for a single story. I really thought it was something I found on Kindle Unlimited, but looking through my history, I can't seem to find it or I'm finding it but not recognizing the title.
