Forum: Lost Stories

Years ago I read a couple of stories where a fellow coaches a women's college bicycling team. Bicycle racing figured prominently in those stories but for the life of me I can not remember either the titles or the author's name. I believe that one of the ladies in the story is Melanie but I could be wrong.

Anyone have any guess as to what the story was?

The only cycling story I can recall is Benny & the Bike Tour by Maninconn on Lit. That is about the break up of an engaged couple.

Road Rash and Pace Line by Merlin

As was mentioned already, Road Rash was the first story that came to mind.

Thank you all very much. Road Rash was the story I was thinking of and I also used to have pace Line. I think they're both terrific stories.

I'll check the other stories listed in the replies too.
