I read a story a while back that I was fairly sure I read on here or perhaps Finestories.com.
The premise was that an ordinary but opinionated guy with the name of Richard Head who spent a lot of his time at the local bar had a joke T-shirt made for him stating "Dick Head for President" They ended up selling like crazy and he ended up in the running for president.
Am I losing my mind or did I read this somewhere else?
Please let me know.

I once dated a girl who's last name was head. At one point her parents were considering naming her brother John. They decided that would be cruel and picked a neutral first name.
I once worked with a guy named Head, Richard Head.
Strangely enough, he wasn't the Dick Head in the office...
But the real question is: if you see a sign asking you to vote for Dick Head, how are you to know which candidate they're talking about?
On the other hand, no matter how you do vote, once they take office, you'll discover that, as always, a Dick Head has won.

I don't believe you can delete a thread. You could request it be closed by Management. Of course they can do anything, but I haven't seen them ever delete a thread. You can start as many threads as you want. I recommend just starting one at a time, Management won't want a lot of electrons used unnecessarily. Be careful not to get too political. Asking about stories that may have been on this site is perfectly legitimate. Even if they were a little political. It would be best if no one were offended and might cancel their membership. Particularity their premier membership. No money means no site. On the other hand we don't want there to be any reason Canada decides to close the site, either.
