I was hoping some of you might be able to help me out with tracking down a couple stories I read years ago.
The first one was about 2 high school kids who were neighbors and/or best friends. They ended up going to a school event together (prom I think) as friends and ended up sleeping together, allowing them to realize their feelings for each other. I remember she was on the high school basketball team, and when they showed up to an event the following day their friends figured out something happened and always knew they had feelings for each other.
The second I don't believe I ever finished reading. I remember the main character needed a costume for a Halloween event and ended up getting an captain America costume and the costume place built the shield out of a very strong metal and on a couple of occasions he used the shield to fend of attackers and videos ended up online and was talks of some sort of computing between him and Chris Evens to see who was the better Capt America.
