I read a story where the main character the male main character started a band. He and his friends started making movies that became very successful. Female main character becomes active in national politics. At some point male main character joins military.
Any help finding this story would be appreciated.

Thank you, that is the one i was looking for. At first I thought I had it with EzzyB's chaos series. While a great read it wasn't quite the story I was looking for. Thanks again for the help.
I just finished reading that trilogy yet again. Is Hardaysknight still with us and writing? I really am looking forward to Book Four.
I've seen no indication he wouldn't be.
However, he did plan to finish writing book 4 before starting posting, although he didn't have much planned for it as of last year.
