I'd like to point out that a few of Jays stories share characters/interlock somewhat also. Daze in the Valley, for example, interlocks with A Flawed Diamond towards the end. I've never read one of his stories that didn't rate a ten
I'm less of a fan. Jay's stories tend to start with a cracking premise and lots of conflict, then gradually the drama subsides into melodrama and readers are treated to the tell-tale scenes of buying household furnishings.

I agree to a point as some of his longer stories I have to skip parts because of info overload. I love all the research he does but some times less is more.
