Looking for this one...I can remember a young guy going out in a boat and finding a mafia guys boat, no one aboard or they're dead, but there is a lot of money and/or weapons aboard,,,
can't remember if he went out after or during a hurricane, or if it was apocalyptic,,,I'm thinking it was after a hurricane,,,
here's hoping someone else knows it from the little I remember,,

I remember a several like this. I think one was off Florida or the east coast and was a mobster. Another was by the author who writes about loners on boats often leave the US. (I'm sorry but my memory isn't what it once was. I can remember several of his story lines but not his name. His stories are frequently a little dark or melancholy.) There are more about guys salvaging from sunken boats including a few by Ka Hmnd in different settings.
