MC rents a unit behind a couple's house. Couple's daughter (?) arrives and demanded the MC to park the car and take care of the luggage before going to sleep. Tried searching for the story but in vain. May anyone remind me of the title? Thanks in advance
If it's the story I think it is, he's renting an apartment over the garage. The daughter has been away to college and has returned with an attitude.
Thinking further, I can remember the MC is in high school and he can't live with his family for reason I can't remember.
For some reason Lucky Tickets and Lucky Stiff keep popping into my mind. However, I can't check them out in detail at the moment. The Playing the Game series pops into my mind as well. However, I do remember I read both of those series at the same time, so I can be mixing them up.
