This story was posted within the last year or so, on this site. I believe it was either a do-over or time travel story. It's about a teenager being fostered by a doctor and his wife in Corpus Christi, TX. He is also friends with their maid and her husband, who is a shrimp boat captain. I believe, the last chapter I read, was about how he was attacked while walking home, by some other teens that go to the same school.
